Trip Recap: San Diego | Two Gift Cards to Starbucks!

Friends!
Well, we are home from the last of our summer vacations. It's so incredibly heartbreaking. I am currently sitting in my classroom; trying to get back into work and reality. It sort of makes me want to cry. I mean, I am always excited to meet my students and start a new school year, but I am not ready for summer to be over!
At the end of July, we went down to San Diego for the extended Ainge Family Reunion. I haven't seen some of my Ainge cousins, aunts&uncles, and their kids in years. In fact, I hadn't met some of the children! It was fun to see family who lives all over the country! We played some football at the park (can't do anything without it being competitive…Hello, we are taking about all of the Ainge's in the same place! Yikes!), lots of charades (apparently we have some actors in our family), lots of good conversation, played at the beach, explored downtown Carlsbad, and took lots of family pictures.  It was so difficult to choose which photos to post because I took 200+, but here are some highlights from the vacation. Also, I have decided that I would like to raise my children in Carlsbad. Just so you know. Let's hope my husband makes a lot of money….

Cousins and 2nd cousins playing some football.

  10. That is so fun to have family reunions! I love the pics of your family getting into charades. We just played that at a family night and my father in law did a hilarious impression of Ariel from the Little Mermaid -- more like beached whale/seal. We lost because we couldn't stop laughing at him. Good luck with the new school year and getting back into the groove of everything.
