It's a Monday and There is No School So I Am Up LATE.

Oh yea!
12:00 (a.m., mind you) on a Sunday night! I don't have to teach my littles tomorrow so I am feeling young...so let's set this world on fire. (Name that song!)
I'm practically a freshman in college all over again.
Except I don't think I could do all nighter even if you paid me anymore. I love sleep too much.

I don't really have that much to say right now.
Actually, wait, I lied.
I have a lot to say.
It's been a rough weekend.
There, I said it.
...It's just that I don't really know how to put it into words that will make logical sense at the moment.
And if it is logical it's far too personal for this public of a blog.
And then I would have to deal with the aftermath of a lot of my relationships.
Yea...no...not really feelin' that right now.

So, I'm going to leave you with some other forms of showing how all the millions of thoughts and feelings that are overtaking me at the moment:
Music, Pinterest quotes and instagram pictures. Naturally.

More importantly, come link up at the Monday Mingling! I'm a co host. Ya know, since I'm such a party animal tonight.

Come be my friend on Pinterest.
Oh, and Instagram
PS can all of my Pinterest friends be my blogger friends too? I seem to have some friends there. Here? Meh not so much.
I'm too sarcastic. No?

1. A Lifestory Song.
And yes, this is Taylor Swift.
I love her. I do. I can't help it.

2. A Deep Instagram Lifestory Quote.
(We all have them, don't pretend like you don't.)
Oh, how true this is.

3. Pinterest.
The Ultimate Daydreamer's Lifestory.

hahahahaha had to put that in there.
Because this is definitely one of my thoughts recently.
About 6 times today, actually

Are you picking up what I'm putting down?
...yea, didn't think so.
Whole lot of thoughts, eh?
Whew. I think it's time for sleep.
The next few months of my life are gonna be insane.
You ready for this, y'all?

Happy President's Day!
(tried to end with a positive, non-dramatic comment. did it work?)
xoxo.

It's the Day of Love...Oooh La La.

That's what I wrote on my whiteboard today.
I love to talk about love because my boys react to it. A lot.

When I think about Valentine's Day...
At first, I'm all:

via

But then I remember this quote:

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around.
You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more.
You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.
When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement.
They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself.
Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but ratherthey build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.
There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around.
You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.
The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.
Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again.
Colors seem brighter and more brilliant.
Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all.
A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face.
In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby.
Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you.
You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do.
Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon.
You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible.
You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you.
You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remainloyal to the end.
Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.
Bob Marley

How perfect is that? Love it.
I don't hate Valentine's Day.
You think I would be because I tend to be sort of cynical (ha).
However, I am also a hopeless romantic.
There is nothing better than just loving those that surround you.
I love spending it with my 4th grade students, too.
They are so excited about giving.
And that makes me happy.
My body is dying. I just want all of those treats. I have already given in. POINTS (cough girls, you know who you are, cough).
It's a holiday. I do what I want.
Celebrate good times.

Chocolate and a day of love?
Who cares if you are single. I have been single on many Valentine's thus far in my life (yes, in my ripe ol age) and I love that we can celebrate the good that we see in people.
Regardless if they piss you off a lot of the time.
 Hakuna Mutata.

Happy Love Day, Y'all!
xoxo

LINK UP Bachelor Thoughts: Sean's Season {Episode 6}

Good News, Friends!!!
I have decided to make this a button only link up party!
I have been reading SO many Bachelor posts and I thought--Hey! Why not? Let's all get in on the drama, eh?
Here are the rules:

1. Follow Oh, Just Living the Dream.
2. Put the Bachelor button at the end of your post and somewhere in your blog link it back to mine! Easy enough, eh?
3. Leave a comment telling me that you linked up!!!!

HERE'S TO SOME JUICY DRAMA POSTS.
Oh, yea.

Oh, Just Living the Dream

First things first, if you are completely lost then go check out my other Bachelor posts.
Beware: These are brutally honest and quite mean. But it's fine...this show is all fake. blah blah blah)
Episode 5
Episode 4
Episode 3
(didn't do first two episodes. DON'T HATE ME).

---AshLee's One on One Date---

I hate how AshLee spells her name--with the capital L. There is no need for the Lee to be capitalized. No need at all. It's like when those Utah girls spell their name: Lyndzey or Chasdidee. Just capitalization at the beginning of the name. That's all we want.
*sorry to those of you who spell your name like this. I still love you. It's not you, it's me.

"This is the best, most fun date I have had so far...."-Sean
So far? As in that day? Haha. What does he mean by that? Haha

ASHLEE WITH THE CAPITAL L GOT MARRIED WHEN SHE WAS 17.
Is she Mormon? (jk. that's not funny.)

Sean's thoughts as she is telling him that: ... "Cool. You were an idiot at 17. Who wasn't? I mean the rest of us just like had alcohol or made out with the opposite sex...but get married? Sure why not? It's whatevs. She likes marriage. SO that's neat. I want to get married. I mean, yea, that's kinda weird. But you're hot. And obsessed with me. So that's all that matters. "

Whoa, they are screaming. That's unnecessary. And completely random.

She just screamed that she loved Sean? Why is she yelling at him? I feel like that is not a normal way to tell someone that you love them...
See what I mean. So emotional and over the top.

Hmmm, I'm gonna say it. I don't like Ashlee. I mean she's no Tierra, but I'm just not in love with her. (Not that I would actually be in love with her...) She is too vulnerable and emotional. She's too serious. I think it's probably her age--I feel like she's almost a little too desperate to get married. Does that make sense?

--Tierra's One on One Date---

"He bought me some of the most incredible things you can buy on the first date.
........THINGS THAT THE SHOWS BUYS FOR YOU HONEY. Duh.

Uh oh, Tierra is gonna start dancing with these parade people. I can feel it.
CALLED IT. Oh man, I so called it.

"Tierra has a great personality..."-Sean
Tierra has a crazy personality, Seany boy. Use your brain for 3 seconds.

This date is BORING.
I'm bored. Where's Tierra's drama?  At least it made things interesting.

Ope, here we go... Finally, Tierra. I was just waiting. Bring the drama. Bring it, darling.

Note: Commercial--Are you the next contestant for The Bachelor or Bachelorette?
YES. Put me on. I would make this show interesting, you have no idea.
But like good interesting. Not like Tierra interesting.
Or...well..

"I feel like I'm behind in the game..."
There's your problem, girlfran.... you think its a game!!!

Oh man, she is so good. She is so smooth, that Tierra girl.

"She's probably not nice to the other women, but it's good to know that she is here for me."-Sean
Dear Sean,
When women treat other women sh** that is usually a good indicator of their character. How do you think your wife is going to survive when you are not around when she treats other women like Tierra does all of the time?
Again, use the other head, my dear, blonde, Sean.
K THANKS BYE.

---Group Date: Catherine, Lindsay, and Desiree---

"I just need to pee and I'm good to go."- Catherine.
Catherine, YES.  I love you. I wish her and Sean were more into each other. Cause she seems so real. And awesome. Haha. I think he likes her, just not as much as the other girls.
BEST LINE OF THE SEASON THUS FAR.

I love this sunrise/sunset date!!!! It would be so much fun.

"It seems like Desiree and Sean are on their own date. It's hard to sit back and watch them connect"-Catherine.
THAT'S BECAUSE DESIREE IS GOING TO WIN, BABE. Go Des, go!
...But that sucks to sit back and watch two people connect, while you just hang out. I know that feeling! You don't want to be overbearing, but you want to connect with the guy, too. Blah.

Lindsay is not very cute when she has wet hair. Wow. Whooooooa. Harsh, I know. (And that's saying something cause I am like anti makeup half of the time! aha). She has definitely grown on me. I don't hate her, but I still think she is very annoying.

Leslie is hilarious. Like, I feel like I would be her best friend. Is she ready for a deep relationship? Absolutely not. She's too young. Or at least acts really young.

You know what is so hard about Sean...you can't really see who he likes. He does not really put himself out there with all of these girls. I honest couldn't tell you who he likes the most. I have no idea who is going home this week. Seems so weird.

Ope, well there is my answer. He doesn't know who he likes the most. There's your problem, Sean.

This season is weird for me. I don't like any of these girls except Desiree. I mean, I don't hate any of them (except Tierra of course!) but I just don't LOVE anyone except Desiree. Is this just me?

Less tongue, Sean. Let's keep working on your kissing, babe. I mean, I'd be willing to help. That is, if you don't shove your tongue down my throat. (TMI?)

Catherine hasn't made eye contact with Sean once while telling him that awful story about her father. Hmmmm.... This is clearly very difficult for her to tell. Yikes.

Why is Desiree crying when talking about her family? I feel like that's kinda weird. I mean, I love my family and they mean everything to me, but I don't think I would cry when talking about him. I only cry  when I'm talking negatively about my family. Hahaha.  Eh, I am just being cynical. Sorry. That's actually super sweet. Good for her.

Dang...I'm bummed that Lindsay got the rose. She's my least favorite on this date. Boooooo.

I am not feeling the love on this season. At all. From anyone. Ya know?
It's becoming more and more fake--it just seems like a bunch of people are going on dates and that's it. Like no emotion or passion or love.

Sean doesn't seem genuine. At all. Hmph.

----One on One Date with Leslie---

Loooove Leslie's pink skirt. Totes adorbs. haha.

I don't think Leslie is cute. How terrible am I?! She has weird eyes and weird makeup taste. What's with the bright purple?

....that was an awkward conversation. All I could focus on was her purple eyeshadow.

I bet Leslie goes home. Calling it now.

There we go!! There's less tongue!!! Yay, Sean! You're learning!!! woooo talk about sexual tension between these two.

"Who's for me? Who's not? I don't know."-Sean
Here's your solution, Sean: PRAY ABOUT IT. #mormon

--------

"Don't end up with a girl that no one likes."
GOOD ADVICE, SISTER. AMEN.

"I hope when I am 32 years old, that I have a family and am not sitting around and gossiping with 20 year old girls..."- Tierra to AshLee. Woooo low blow. She kind of has a point, though. I hate her, but I can kinda see it. That was a low blow though.

Tierra cannot have a normal conversation. She can't just sit down and talk and be open and realize where other people are coming from.

"Girls are just jealous...guys love me!"Ha. Oh geez.

I CAN'T CONTROL MY EYEBROW.
K, this is the second best line of the show this year so far.
hahahahahahaha. Kills me.

Just send Tierra home already. Goodness gracious!

"Tierra you have a sparkle. Don't let those other girls diminish that sparkle. That's what my parents said."-Tierra
Does "sparkle" mean an evil curse? Hahaha.

Why does Tierra have a tattoo on her wedding ring finger? Hmmm seems suspicious. Somebody explain that to me...

K, it is always somebody ...It was Robyn, now it's Ashlee. Doesn't Sean see that Tierra is at the center of it all?

Wow Tierra is a freaking good manipulator. Makes me sick to my stomach.

YES SEAN, YES!!!!! YOU USED YOUR BRAIN. YAYYYY!!!!!! Tierra is going home!!! I am so excited!!!! Haha.
"She's been really emotional since the beginning. She's an emotional mess."
Oh really Sean. Dur dur dur.

Seeing the camera crew all over the place is a good reminder how fake this show is. Haha.

----Rose Ceremony---

Oh, I love AshLee's yellow dress. Different but still stylish, feminine, and fun!

"I had a moment of clarity and I knew she wasn't going to be my wife. I knew Tierra was a source of drama, and just to make sure you all know, that is not something that I look for in a wife."--Sean.
Amen, boy, Amen.

His sister must have really helped him make his decision because homeboy is completely sure of what he wants!

Dude he is finally making up his mind! Yay! Good for him.

"I have given him every ounce of me..."Ashlee.
That's what I'm talking about--her dramatic phrases. Uh, girl, no you have not. All once a week for a few moments that you have with him? That is not giving him every ounce of you, honey. Ugh, sooooo emotional

AshLee is clearly not going home because they keep showing her. They are trying to play it up. Duh.
Told you.

Oh my gay, enough of these cheesy, over the top phrases from AshLee. Stoppppppppp.
Apparently Sean likes the vulnerability though. Because Ashlee has been super vulnerable with him and he keeps her. But because Leslie wasn't vulnerable and open on the last date, he is sending her home. Maybe we are seeing more emotion from him!!!!

Whoa Catherine...where did that come from? What are you talking about? Where is this all coming from? I'm so confused!!!!! Whoa, she obviously thinks she should go home. Wow. Mind blown.
I want to know more what's going on with Catherine. That was super random and very confusing. What???

Well, folks, til next time.

Six: Sundance Film Festival
Seven: A creative student?

Ugh.

Bachelor Thoughts: Sean's Season {Episode 5}

Episode 1
Lindsey is growing on me! Her voice, however, is not.

Oh my goodness, these girls are retarded. Learn how to row a boat.

THAT'S MY GIRL DESIREE!!!! Drink that goat milk.

"He's not gonna wanna kiss that mouth now. Goat pee mouth...mmmmm...."-Phil

Tierra. Go away. Fuh-reak!!!!! She is literally cray cray.

Sean just said he is crazy about Ashlee! Holy crap. They are coming out of nowhere.

Jackie is so much prettier than Tierra. Tierra's dent is buggin'. Hard core.
But she needs to be way more aggressive.

Well, no wonder Tierra is cray cray. She dated a drug addict...for five years. She continued to be with him. Yiiiikes.

The problem is that Jackie is really boring. She doesn't have much of a backbone. She's beautiful, but Sean wants more personality. Hence the fact that Tierra is still around. That and she's hot and he wants to do naughty things with her.

Eh, I'm so over writing this episode...

Episode 2 (Two episodes in one week! ahhh!!!)
I don't know if I would jump in a glacier lake. Uh.....and I'm pretty spontaneous.

Oh my goodness, Sarah's response to Sean breaking up with her just breaks my heart. She is so kind. But at least he was honest with her and sent her home right away. Props, Sean. But holy crap...this is so awkward. Poor girl.
Ahhh this is breaking my heart. I didn't even really like Sarah, but this whole thing is so sad! I feel bad for Sarah. The girl has probably struggled with this her whole life; talk about a shatter to her confidence.

Sean: "You okay?" to Sarah.
NO SEAN. SHE'S NOT OKAY.

Date with Des! Yes yes yes! My fav girl.
I just love how natural Sean and Desiree are together. It seems more...real... I can't explain it.

Ope, there is the relationship correlating with the hard task date...blah blah blah. NEVER HEARD THIS BEFORE ON THE BACHELOR. No, your relationship with Sean is nothing like that rock climbing backwards. Unless you mean the fact that you are falling in love with a guy that you don't even know and your dates are completely unrealistic. That's what you mean, right, des?
Okay...Sorry. Des, you know I love ya.
(but you know what I mean?)

Okay, marry each other now Desiree and Sean. K?
"It's impossible not to have a good time with you." BOOM.
Okay, Desiree, time to be vulnerable for 2 seconds though, yea?
Ope, she lived in a tent. Okay, there's the honesty. Wooo that'll do it....

It's fine. I'm braintyping all of these girls.

Ya know, for not being able to kiss him, Selma sure shows all of her body (boobs) to the world. Hmmm....
"Mama...please forgive me.... for showing my breasts in every single outfit that I wear...don't worry though the kiss was WEAK AND WE BARELY TOUCHED LIPS. So it's fine. I'm a good girl, mama..." --Selma's unedited version.

Oh my lanta Lindsay is a freaking tease. No, nooooo don't kiss me. KISS ME.

Ashlee is so classy. I feel like she is too mature and good for him though. Is that just me?

Okay, I'm gonna be a hopeless romantic right now...but that blindfold scene and kiss with Ashlee was so perfect. Wow.

Tierra?! Over Selma! WHAT. You're an idiot, Sean.
Eh, whatever. I'm over it. Ha.
I didn't like Selma or Daniella anyway. So it's all good.

"That was extremely difficult for me"-Sean. Uh huh, I'm sure. As you say it to 6 other gorgeous women.

Episode 4
Episode 3

Thursday, February 7, 2013

Now that we are a week into February, I'll let you know that I WAS alive in January.

Ten Points for longest title ever.
boom.
Here's some January fun.
It was, in fact, very fun.
Big shocker.
What wasn't (well, uh, isn't, I guess) fun is that I am so ghostly white.
So, yea, I'll need to work on that ASAP.

Teacher parties, girls nights, birthday parties, Oregon pride parties, etc.
It's been a good month!
Come at me, February!

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

Oh, the Ideas of 4th Graders...

As many of you already know, I spend so much of my time in my classroom laughing hysterically. I have a class full of rowdy, rambunctious, opinionated boys and girls. It is very tiring, but my goodness, they say and do the funniest things. They take after their hilarious teacher ;)

My students sort of have this obsession with me getting married. I'm still not entirely sure why, since we have only talked about it once. Apparently this is my future husband though? I let my students doodle during read aloud, and once we finished, a student of mine approached me with this picture. K, well...at least he has a 12 pack. right?

Remember how I let my students do crafts during read aloud?
Maybe I should stop....
because this is the kinda crap, er, creative art, I mean.... they come up with.

"Miss Ainge, look, you're the background of my tablet!!"
I felt so many emotions, guys. Flattered? Scared?
Haha love it.

Okay, are you ready for this y'all?
For MLK day, we talked about Martin Luther King and what his "dream" was and how he helped our country.
So, I had my students write their own dreams.
I'm gonna leave it at that. You, my dears, just enjoy these HILARIOUS responses.

"I have a dream..."
Yep. you read that right

:)
Haha this one kills me!

Okay, well...

At least he's realistic, right?

Ope there is the marriage word.

ha. ha. hahahaha. Apparently my students think China is in need?

I just about cried when I read this one.

That families will exept black people.
1. Spelled accept wrong.
2. hahahahahahahahahaha

#onlyinutah #areyoumormon

K I am pretty sure that I didn't even know houses were paid for at 10 years old.
Oh my goodness!
Oh man, they crack me up.
I love my students so much.
My job is better than yours.

I Definitely Realized This Today.

So grateful for weekends and the opportunity to rejuvenate; to remind yourself of the little things that can make you happy in life.

Friday, February 1, 2013

Five Things Friday.

First things first: IT IS FRIDAY. AND IT IS SUNNY. Although it's colder than I would like, we have clear, blue skies in Utah and the snow looks pretty when it is only on the mountains...and not all over my car. Just saying.
Okay, now...
Five things I bet you didn't know about me.
Even you, mom. Yea, I know you read this blog.

I look too yellow. Stupid Instagram.
I could spend 9 hours watching Grey's Anatomy in my bed. Easy. Now, I have only done this once and it was when I had kidney stones, but, ya know...it's fine. Oh, how I wish I could have one day of laziness. Haha.

I secretly want to wear glasses. I am grateful for my perfect eyesight (I mean that as humbly as possible) but I would buy the suh-weetest glasses. (see above picture. no? yea? Eh whatever)

When I was little, I would play "Butts Up" with my brother. Yea, we named it ourselves. Oh, the sheer brilliance of a nine and ten year old. We would throw a tennis ball against the garage and if we fumbled it, we had to sprint to the garage door and touch it before the other person threw it to get you out. So, yes, basically, wall ball...with a tennis ball. We thought we were so creative.
But here's the real point: Without fail, I would get mad at my brother every.single.time we played because he would always win. Even with his left hand (that's what you get when you have a severely athletic older brother). I would scream, yell, and then leave the game. Every time.
....I'm still mad at him for this.

I don't really like goody two shoe people. OKAY, LISTEN BEFORE YOU JUDGE. I am so grateful for people who are amazing members of the church, but I get frustrated with people who feel like they have to do everything perfect and never do one thing wrong in their entire life. Just take a breather, k?
We are here on this earth to learn and make mistakes. Allow yourself to be vulnerable and learn and grow and mess up!!!

Milk duds are my favorite candy.
yep, couldn't think of anything else. goin' out on a limb, here. You're getting the juicy details.

And that, my friends, are 5 deep dark secrets of Sierra no middle name Ainge.
You are welcome.

Yea, Bonnie, I linked up to you! YOU ARE WELCOME, TOO.

Happy Weekend!
